Spreading Joyful Vibes Everywhere: An Interview with Loka Pandya, Chief Joy Officer

In a world where stress and negativity often take center stage, finding joy can be like searching for a needle in a haystack or Superman in the sky. There’s no guarantee that you’ll find the needle or Superman, but joy is luckily within your reach. Meet Loka Pandya, the Chief Joy Officer and a man on a mission to make the world joyous.

Loka is not your average entrepreneur. With a highly infectious smile and a heart full of love, he has dedicated his life to helping others experience the true magic of “joy” His journey began with a tragic event at the age of 13, when he lost his mother to depression. It took him years, but ultimately Loka transformed his pain into purpose, using his experiences to fuel his passion for spreading joy.

He is now the founder of Loka Enterprises – a business driven entirely by joy. He is a serial entrepreneur and a motivational speaker who inspires people to live a more ‘joy-filled’ life.

I decided to track down this unique individual for a one-on-one conversation and found him blowing bubbles. The sight instantly made me smile, and I knew I was in for a truly unique experience.

In this heartwarming interview, we not only discussed his story but also felt numerous little moments of happiness. Read yourself to feel the joyous vibes within.

Q: Hi Loka, You are quite a sight. How did you come up with the idea of spreading joy in such a unique way?

A: Well, you can call it the “Loca” way (he said with a big smile). You know, joy is already in all of us, regardless of our different backgrounds and experiences. I’m here to inspire the joy that people have within them instead of me being the person who brings joy to make them happy. I’ll definitely bring them joy, but only to show that they can be as happy as I am in their own way. Everyone’s happiness looks different, and that’s the beauty of it.

Q: Interesting! So how did you find joy in the first place?

A: Just how Bruce Wayne found Batman – it was always within himself. After drowning in my own misery, I spent 20 years, 40 retreats and workshops in self-development, healing, and spiritual spaces, and over $250,000 just to find joy, but I forgot that learning was useless unless it was put into practice. So I started implementing it, and I found joy within me. And the first thing the joy gave me was permission to have joy, as many of us don’t allow ourselves to be happy.

Q: That’s true. You said you exude happiness in your daily life – How do you do that?

A: Oh, there’s a lot I do. I run out to dance in the rain, and I always have bubbles on me that I blow along with the balloons that I’ll blow up randomly. I will pretty much dance anywhere, anytime, because it brings me so much joy.

Q: Now, this intrigues me more. What can I, an average person, do to bring joy into my life?

A: First, tell me, have you ever danced in the rain? Or in the sun while the rays hit you? Did you ever look up at the sky as you enjoyed your favorite song? All these small things make us feel joyful. The simplest way to bring joy into our lives is to take out some time for yourself, even if it’s just five minutes every day. Above all, be yourself. Don’t fake it; don’t hide.

Q:  One last question, What’s your mission with Loka Enterprise? What’s your belief?

A: My goal is to impact millions of people by speaking on stages worldwide about joy and how to become your most joyous self. I also want to create a joy-driven investment fund that invests in joy-driven businesses, businesses that have a positive culture, and businesses that help people heal. Some of those investments will be in the glamping space, as glamping is extremely experiential and happiness-driven.

I believe that anything and everything is possible, especially when we operate from a place of love, joy, magic, and abundance. He said this as he handed me a bubble wand with a big, broad smile.

As our interview came to a close, I couldn’t help but feel inspired by Loka’s unwavering commitment to spreading happiness. He reminded me that joy is something we create and share with others.

People like Loka make us realize that joy is not a luxury. It’s a priority; it’s something you should invest your time, money, and energy on.
