Mikaela Janalyn- A Young Black Woman Traveling the World Solo, Gracefully and Making It Look Easy!

Instagram is filled with influencers with their own sense of style and multiple travel destinations. Everyone has their own unique way of showing their fashion sense, posing their own way through gaining followers.  

Plus-size bloggers and influencers are becoming more and more prevalent in the fashion industry. As designers and retailers continue to see the power of bringing more inclusivity to their campaigns, more plus-size creatives are able to make lucrative incomes while inspiring women to love the bodies they’re in. 

Many of these plus-size influencers are a part of the African diaspora. 

One such influencer is Mikaela Janalyn, who uses her platform to represent body positivity while displaying pride in her African heritage. She’s a style influencer born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Her outlandish style is what has earned her over 130k subscribers on YouTube, 180 followers on Twitter, and 90k on Instagram!        

Mikaela Janalyn has traveled to many destinations, making it look easy and fun to travel solo with style. We’re not quite sure how Mikaela manages to make every single one of her outfits look effortlessly perfect. Needless to say, we’re obsessed, and she’s one of our all-time favorite bloggers. Her breezy style works in every destination she travels to, with some of our favorites being her cute culottes, vacation-ready espadrilles, and stylish denim. 

Someone as ambitious, consistent, and hardworking as Mikaela Janalyn won’t stop with only what she is doing. She puts her best foot forward and is a perfect example of a woman who goes after what she wants and never lets anything hinder her success. She gets all this from her mother, and it shows.

She plans to launch a very successful swimwear brand in the future that will be known all around the world for catering to curvier women with bigger chests because it is so hard for them to find swimwear that fits. She also wants to start a hair extensions line to provide the best quality wigs and extensions in the world! Last but not least, she plans to start her own collection of NFTS that centers around her traveling and to curate her own “travel club” that NFT holders will only have access to. 

Mikaela is cooking up a lot of stuff, and we cannot wait for all that she’s going to serve us!
