Lana Kerr, a successful businesswoman and content creator went through a series of events that eventually led her to the wellness and beauty industry. With a passion for business, she has been experimenting in different fields since she was 14. It all started when she started selling buns that her friend made as Easter Gifts, and she’s flourished every day since.

Lana was born in Washington, DC, and grew up in Jamaica. She lived with her parents, both businesspeople, and because of their career choices, she was always inclined towards business herself – helping people do things better. Her mother was a dentist, and her father owned a dairy farm and a processing plant, providing milk and juices to supermarkets and hotels. Her second business idea came when she saw her father throw away spoiled milk – which could be used to feed the pigs. Hence, she started a pig farm at 19 and sold pigs to jerk pork stands.

Lana holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and business from the State University of New York, Albany. She has a work experience in the field of auditing and finance. However, she always felt inclined toward the health and wellness industry. Following her passion, she got a certification as a nutritional consultant from the Global College of Natural medicine. She first thought about it when her brother fell sick, and her family turned to nutrition to help him get better.

Later she opened weight loss centers with her husband, Terry – together, they have helped over 25,000 people achieve their weight goals and feel confident in their bodies over the years.
