Social Media has changed exponentially in the last twenty years or so. Every year there is an influx of content creators sharing their vision with the world. They try to bring something new to the world of entertainment, to show the world that there is still more to be done.

Content creator John Vizaniaris is one such individual. Wanting to focus on the horror aspect of films and television series, John started his talk show, Dead Talk Live. He had no background in the entertainment industry and only had a passion for the horror genre to lead the way. It wasn’t long before he began to shift to other genres as well, desiring to invite a bigger pool of viewers to the talk show. Providing a fresh and new front to the talk show genre, Dead Talk Live was quick to gain popularity, and John soon began to branch out to other projects as well.

One of the projects he began was Dead Talk Media, an entertainment media production and distribution company that aims to distribute content on several notable platforms such as Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Vudu, and others. John is always looking to add more films to the growing portfolio at Dead Talk Media.

John’s interest in distributing films led to him creating CineXposè, a platform for students and amateur horror filmmakers alike. A revolutionary virtual film festival has been designed to find gifted indie filmmakers and provide them with a platform where they can showcase their passion projects.

What makes CineXposè different from other film festivals is the fact that submission is free here. Most other film festivals require some sort of fee when calling for submissions. Another factor is that there is no time limit to the film being submitted. They may be as long as 2 hours to as short as 10 minutes and will still be considered eligible for the festival. All the events are virtual, and the films are streamed via various platforms that fall under the Dead Talk Live streaming services. The fans pick the winners through a voting process, and there are seven grand prizes for the winners.

In the first year of CineXposè, which was 2021, the festival received over 50 film submissions. Their submissions for the second festival received more than 100 films and counting. The winning short films might be included in the upcoming CineXposè Network, while full-length feature films might be produced for distribution by Dead Talk Media.

With the popularity of the previous film festivals, John hopes to hold more of them in the future. His desire to do so is because he wants talented and passionate people who are just starting to have a platform where they can showcase their horror creations and share them with the world.
